5 Vegas - Series 'A' (Apex 6.5" x 52)

Type of cutter used: Double blade guillotine
Type of lighter used: Butane torch
Environment smoked: Outside w/ the laptop watching a movie

Flavors/Aroma: On the initial light there is a creamy leathery taste with hits of chocolate. After an inch or so into the cigar, the leathery taste mellows to allow the chocolate essence be more predominate. Throughout the entire buttery smoke there is a nice balance of both spicy and sweet undertones which leaves you pure bliss.

Personal Comments: Long and beautiful box-pressed cigar with consistent draw and a strong gray ash throughout. This is by far my favorite cigar thus far and most enjoyable when you're trying to just simply relax.

Other recommendations: CAO Italia or Olivia Serie G Maduro
Personal rating: 92/100

Olivia - Serie G Maduro (Robusto 4.5" x 50)

Type of cutter used: Double blade guillotine
Type of lighter used: Butane torch
Environment smoked: Outside w/ the laptop paying bills and thinking

Flavors/Aroma:
On the initial light there is a smooth and mild earth tone which stays consistent throughout the smoke as a warm and subtle spice builds. Towards the end it finishes with a warm and buttery leather taste thanks to it's maduro wrapper leaving a wonderful experience in your memory of it smooth and rich smoke.

Personal comments:
My smallest smoke yet, but was still good for just under an hour when i put it out with about a inch remaining. Very consistent draw the entire time with a strong very light gray ash.

CAO - Italia (Ciao 5.0" x 56)

Type of cutter used: Double blade guillotine
Type of lighter used:
Buta
ne torch
Environment smoked:
Local B&M

Flavors/Aroma: On the initial light there are light floral notes which is shortly taken over by traditional leathery/earthy notes that are consistent with a maduro wrapper. Towards the end as the smoke warms up there is a essence of toasted coco/mocha which leads to a overall very smooth and pleasant experience on the palate for being a full body smoke.

Personal comments: The CAO Italia is one of my favorite smokes up to this point and have consistently enjoyed smoking them. Only problem, possible due to its rather hefty ring gauge, is that the draw can be somewhat tight as times but often corrects it self in a puff or two.

Other recommendations: 5 Vegas Series 'A' or Onyx Reserve
Personal rating:
88 / 100
